MISSION STATEMENT: HLI AMERICA is a Catholic educational apostolate to the United States, which is dedicated to promoting the true dignity of the person, to defending authentic human rights, and to fostering the good of marriage and the family.

As a program of Human Life International we will:

-Be genuinely Catholic and faithful to the teachings of the Magisterium

-Proclaim the inherent dignity of every human being, each of whom is made in the image and likeness of God

-Defend all the authentic rights of the human person, especially the right to life, and the right to freedom of conscience and religion

-Commit to scholarship and dialogue with the disciplines of theology, philosophy, and the sciences through  research which is diligent, thorough, and rigorous

-Promote the goods of the human family, the cornerstone of American society

-Engage the public square on behalf of families and of all the vulnerable with a message of love and truth

-Proclaim the “Gospel of Life” in the face of widespread disregard for human life and the contraceptive mentality

-Collaborate with like-minded organizations to build a culture of life

-Uphold the vision and mission of Human Life International
