Christopher J. Stravitsch, MA, LPC, LMFT-A
Chris Stravitsch is a Fellow of HLI America. He serves on the Formation Faculty at Assumption Seminary as Director of Collegians. He facilitates priestly formation groups on the virtues, Lectio Divina, and John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. Mr. Stravitsch is also an adjunct faculty member of the Institute for Priestly Formation in Omaha, Nebraska, where he teaches Christian Spirituality and Sexuality in the Spiritual Formation for Diocesan Seminarians summer program.
Mr. Stravitsch is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Converging Roads, a program that provides education to health care professional, catechists, educators, and clergy in the converging areas of bioethics, health care, and Catholic teaching. (www.ConvergingRoads.com)
As a speaker and Catholic musician, Mr. Stravitsch has given talks for numerous ministries. He and his wife, Sarah, especially enjoy speaking about the spirituality of marriage and family life. They have two young children, Eden Matthew and Sophia Marie.
Mr. Stravitsch is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He then went on to earn Master of Arts degrees in Pastoral Ministry and Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, Associate Member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, and Member of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association. Through his private practice—Rejoice Family Ministries and Counseling—he offers consultation in marriage and family ministries and also provides individual, marital, and family therapy.
