Melanie Baker
Melanie Baker is excited to join the team at HLI America as a contributing writer. A native Washingtonian, she has traveled extensively throughout the United States and the world, having been to Canada, England, France, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, the Philippines and Spain, among other places. These travels, often as a missionary, student, or pilgrim, have primed her for collaboration in HLI America’s goals to promote the dignity of the person, to defend authentic human rights, and to foster the good of marriage and family. Having graduated Magna Cum Laude from both her graduate and undergraduate programs, Melanie holds an MA in Theology from the Dominican House of Studies and a BA in Philosophy from the Catholic University of America, and continues to be a frequent attendee at various academic seminars and conferences on themes related to the human person. Most recently she served as Executive Assistant and Research Assistant with the Culture of Life Foundation.
