Rebecca Oas, Ph.D.
Dr. Rebecca G. Oas is a Fellow of HLI America. Dr. Oas graduated from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan with a BS in environmental biology and zoology. She earned her doctorate from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in genetics and molecular biology, with an emphasis on vascular development and endothelial cell junctions. She is currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at Emory.
Dr. Oas is also a member of the choir at St. Francis de Sales parish in Mableton, Georgia, which sings traditional Catholic polyphonic music at the weekly High Mass and on holy days.
